For this week's Skincare practical, we made our very own sunscreen lotion! Cool isn't it?(:

We started of with this, by adding cetyl alcohol, benzophenone-3, stearic acid, crosspolymer and many more into the beaker and heating it on a hotplate until all the ingredients melted~

After continuous stirring, finally a smooth, uniform paste is obtained! (;
Looks like ice cream though (;
And this is our final finished product~ The lotion looks professional in that container though(;

We then compared our lab prepared sunscreen lotion with the commercial sunscreen lotion.
Yay! Banana Boat~
Oh, and don't forget! You can also add your favourite fragrance to your own sunscreen lotion!(;
(There's actually more of those fragrances and we even have CK Base in the lab!)
