Tadaaa~! Here is our long awaited course tee!:D

Our Skincare lab session~

This is the commercial anti-acne product where we were supposed to determine the amount of benzoyl peroxide in it(:

So we added glacial acetic acid and methanol to the commercial anti-acne product~


And we added saturated potassium iodide solution to it too before placing the mixture in the dark for 30 minutes(:

Next, we added in water as well as starch indicator to the solution~

This is how the solution looks like before titration~ (Looks like Ribena though:D)
Next, we titrated the solution with sodium thiosulphate till we get a colourless end point(;


And this is what we got after the titration(;

It's Open House this week!~ Most of us are busy promoting our course and carrying out the open house duties(;  All of us had fun during the open house!:D
