Hi guys! On 19 September, some of us went over to Life Community Service Society once again to carry out Science experiments with the primary school students after school.
We started off with the milk carton car experiment. They got the chance to decorate their wheels for the car, then slowly fixing the wheels to the container.
Some of us even helped by adding to the decorations! |
After that, they attached a balloon onto the top of the container, which is then inflated. When let go, the car will be able to move when the air in the balloon is released. |
We then helped them to attach the colour papers together using tape, attach some strings to it and the parachutes were done!
|
Later on, they also got to test out their parachutes by standing on a chair and seeing it fall. |
Overall, it was an enjoyable day where the kids managed to enjoy and learn the science behind such fun experiments. They all also managed to unleash their creativity when decorating their cars and parachutes!
