These are all the ingredients to prepare a suncreen lotion.

Cetyl alcohol, Benzophenone-3( UV Fliter), Ethylhexylmethoxycinnamate (UV Absorber), Stearic acid, glycerine , stearyl dimethicone silicate cross polymer, Triethanolamine and lastly Deionised Water.

We had to prepare  100g of suncreen lotion :) 

Ingredients were weighed using a weighing balance.

We  heated Phase A to 80-85 degrees to ensure all the ingredience have melted

Phase B was placed on a magnetic stirrer

 and Phase A was slowly added into the Phase B slowly with constant stirring.

It was stirred for 10 minutes

The beaker was removed from the magnetic stirrer and stirred using a silicon spatula for 10 minutes until a smooth uniform paste was obtained! ISNT IT COOL!!!!

I remembered i stirred till my hand was in pain ): 

AND TADAH OUR END PRODUCT !

 WE JUST MADE A SUNSCREEN LOTION FOR OURSELVES! 

SUCH COOL STUFF WE LEARN IN OUR COURSE :)!

Anyway, Last Friday was Valentines Day....

We had to spend Valentines day in schhooolll sadly ..... ): 

HOWEVER, THE CLASS GUYS MADE OUR DAY ! LOOK WHAT THEY GOT FOR OUR CLASS <3  SO SWEET :)
