DPCS Student Chapter Appreciation Dinner! :)

I still can't believe how fast time flies!! Can you believe it? It seemed like yesterday when the term just started... and BAM! There you go it's already week 14. :O
Almost half a term has passed in the blink of an eye!! It's gonna be a jam-packed season for us all over the coming weeks which includes CAs, End-Semester Tests, project submissions as well as presentations. Sighpie. It's the dreaded time of the semester.
I know we will all make it through and finish this semester well! :) Study hard okay? Remember to play hard too! ;)
Just yesterday (19th July 2013), our former DPCS Student Chapter President, Hilary, invited all the members of the chapter to her house for an appreciation dinner (duh haha the title said so lol) to thank everyone for contributing their time and effort to the course! Well, there were about 17 odd people in our chapter but almost half of them couldn't make it. Even though so, we didn't let it ruin our mood. :)
We all enjoyed ourselves very much. We had good food (prepared by Hilary's mom), good company and good fun playing games, watching the telly and bursting out laughing! Yep!

I couldn't resist 'dem food so I kept helping myself to second servings LOL.

Initially it was supposed to be an actual mahjong session,
we only had mini mahjong tiles so...

We did play other games like asshole tai-ti, bridge, asshole bluff and mastermind and not to mention dessert (I assume it was) - Indonesian-style cup corn. You can practically add lots of toppings such as condensed milk, salt, butter, chocolate sprinkles, cheese and you can have it in either hot of cold! It's up to your personal preference and I have to admit it was my first time having it and it was heavenly! Even though it might sound weird but I swore it was the best cup corn I've ever tasted!!! You'll have to imagine and believe it's that good cos' I forgot to take a picture of it LOL. I enjoyed eating it so much that I forgot about it - you see it's that good! You'll just want to carry on eating it and not stop!
Yep so that pretty much sums up our appreciation dinner and here's a picture of us all!

The 3rd DPCS Student Chapter of 2012/13: Success! Well done everyone! You've done the chapter and the course proud! :) I hope the upcoming chapter will continue to bring DPCS to greater heights!
