Hi everybody! We are back with our new post about our annual Course Bonding Day! Before we start, how is everybody coping with the new annual year? We hope everything is okay so far! Okay, let's move on!
Okay, our annual Course Bonding Day happened on 23rd June 2017, and students from Year 1s to Year 3s attended it, and I am pretty sure we all had a fun time! Our student chapter members took about 1 month planning it, and we hoped all of you had as much fun participating as we had planning it.
Let's take you through the flow of the bonding day!

Firstly, our student chapter members came early in the morning to set up for the day and registration.

Here, we have our participants playing our icebreakers led by the Group Leaders, our Student Chapters Year 1s!
Let's move on to the Station Games! We had a total of 5 station games, namely: Blindfold Maze, Charades, Chopsticks Flip, Dog & Bone and Paper Mines. Let's take a look on how the games were played.
Blindfold Maze: This game was played in the Polycentre, where participants had to navigate themselves through a maze while blindfolded. 3 members of the team were blindfolded, and other members would guide them through a maze. Along the maze were obstacles and hidden item, and participants need to guess the hidden items in the box before they could move on along the maze. I'm pretty sure blindfolded participants must have had to trust their teammates a lot to be able to get through this game!
Charades: This game was played T11B level 3 corridor, our game master gave one person a word and the group had to work together to figure it out, it was truly bonding activity as the groups had to work together in order to figure out what the word was and to collect as many points as possible to win the grand prize!
Chopsticks Flip: This game was played along the tables in Food Court 3. Chopsticks were given and we have to put it at the edge of the table. Then, try our best to flip it into the cups. The cups were labeled with points depending on the distance.
Dog & Bone: This game was played at Sports Arena basement, where participants played together to try and get as many points as possible. Groups were split into 2 and they raced against each other to get to the cup first. This station was such a workout!
Blindfold Maze: This last game was also played at the Polycentre. Participants had to complete tasks regarding the paper mines on the floor, and even having to work together as a group to get past the mines. I'm pretty sure participants feel closer to their teammates after this game!
Before we wrapped up the day, we had a short tea-break and our Mass Game: Capture the Flag.
Overall, I'm pretty sure both the participants and Student Chapter members had a great and enjoyable day bonding together, getting to know each other more throughout the different years. The student chapter members hope all the participants enjoyed their day with us, and we hope to see you again next year!
