Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying your time now that the exams are over and the holidays have started! Today, we'll look back on the J&J talk conducted back in the term.

On the 25th of January, Johnson & Johnson conducted a talk for us students from Year 1 to Year 3s at LT7. The talk was conducted by Dr. Abhinav from J&J, where he talked more about himself, how the company works and the different processes before a product is placed into the market.

Dr. Abhinav completed his PhD in Polymer Science from National University of Singapore, and he is currently a R&D Senior Scientist formulating Neutrogena and Clean & Clear products for Johnson & Johnson. 

Dr Abhinav elaborating on the different stakeholders involved in the process of producing a product. Everybody was paying attention to what he was saying and listening attentively.

Firstly, he talked about his personal lifestyle, how he made it to his PhD program in NUS and eventually his likes and dislikes. He then moved on to talk about Chemistry and J&J, where he shared his real-life experiences in formulating and developing a product. Afterwards, he moved on to accept questions for the Q&A, where students asked him questions about the job and others!

Overall, it was an enriching experience to hear about the first-hand experience of working in a company like Johnson and Johnson and how the job as a research scientist works! We'd like to thank Dr. Abhinav once again for coming down all the way to SP to conduct this talk for us!
